Hi! I’m, Beth, and welcome to my blog. I am wife to my best friend of 27 years and Mom to 4 amazing kids. Three handsome boys (grown and gone) and one sweet girl who keeps us young! We’ve moved 18 times in our 27 years together as a military family. Since retiring, we have made Florida our home. We've downsized into a smaller house, by 850 sq ft. Our little cottage by the cutest little spring-fed lake. We have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in our beautiful suburban neighborhood with lots of walking trails, side walks along with many amenities. The best of both worlds- where nature meets the suburbs. This is my journey to Peace, Acceptance and Grace. The change we needed after a long military career. I'm very blessed that Ron and I have the same vision and we are walking side by side in this next chapter. We are purging and simplifying. We are not holding on to all the stuff we have been collecting and hauling around with us all these years. We are taking it one step further...we are letting go of the stressful lifestyle we were once a part of. It was an honor to serve and we wouldn't change a thing. However; those boots on the ground are now walking a High School class room encouraging the next generation willing to stand up and lead. As we pray about how God is calling us to serve one another...we are re-defining who we are in our faith with Jesus as our compass.
